Dynan got stick because he was useless, and pissed away the club's money. In fact I employ a coach from Epsom, and in local circles, Dynan's tenure at the club had become a source of much amusement among local coaching companies, all of whom are led by more experienced and better qualified coaches. For me it was so frustrating to watch, and then hear what people were saying.

There are tonnes of books about different aspects of the style of coaches such as Bielsa and Allegri as these styles involve a great deal of detail. There are no books about the stylistic approaches of Pulis and other direct managers because there is a lot less to these styles. Anyone who employs the latter with a big budget and continuously fails, has to go.

If Brennan wants us to play and work hard out of possession, then this will need time, and if he gets us through the season, he will deserve the chance to shape a squad in his own image and use pre-season to do so.
