Young Carers: Strengthening our partnership with KCN

By John Bangs2/6/2019 15:52Sun Jun 2 15:52:01 2019In response to Young Carers to ?Skywalk? with Ks

As can be seen, Kingstonian Youth are now providing free football fun and coaching sessions for young carers at their Dinton Field Ground. The first of these on 30 May was attended by 20 Young Carers aged 8 to 12. Diane White the Young Carers Project’s manager said that the event had been much better than sessions they had previously had organised and paid for at Goals in Tolworth.

This initiative will help deepen and strengthen the partnership between Kingstonian FC and Kingston Carers Network and complement our young carers days at King George’s Field.

The young carers certainly had a really great time and so it is very pleasing that Kingstonian Youth have kindly offered to host further sessions for young carers.

Kingstonian Youth Chairman Stephen Drewett has also given us a 25 mixed sizes of Ks shirts and shorts to give to young carers when they are being mascots at our Young Carers Days.
