We were only red & white hoops from 1919 but Old Kingstonians were, I think, in red & white stripes when they were formed in 1907/08. No colour photos to confirm and the stripes look a bit light in B&W to be the sort of red we have today.

Started as blue shirts, moved to all white which Kingston On Thames continued with. No idea when Arsenal were formed or if they were red at the start, so the best you might be able to say is to a Chelsea fan that we were blue before you!

Oops... Just found Kingston Wanderers in 1890-1891 were playing in Cherry and white stripes so you might have got lucky with your Arsenal comment!
