Quiz: ten Ks players it didn't work out for

Enjoying these quizzes. Not enjoying no football. A pint whenever I see you again for the first person to get all these, these are players who had success at other clubs but for various reasons only a short spell at Ks:

1. After impressing against us early in the season, Dowse signed this striker in March 2009 to boost us in the title run-in, moving Bobby Traynor to the wing to accommodate him. We lost 1-0 at home to Corinthian-Casuals on his debut and he never played for us again.

2. A midfielder with a great record with Bognor and Whitehawk, Craig Edwards was hoping this player would lift us into the promotion hunt. Instead he only played a handful,of games before leaving at the same time as Craig.

3. A former Ryman golden boot winner, Tommy Williams signed this striker at the start of the 2015-16 season hoping he'd spearhead our campaign. Instead, he played a handful of goalless games before retiring from the sport.

4. Another Tommy Williams signing, this centre-back did well for other clubs before and after Ks. But he struggled at Ks when Tommy brought him in to shore up the defence near the end of the 2016-17 season, including an own goal in Tommy's final game as manager.

5. A highly rated West Ham youngster who didn't find the net in 18 league games for Ks in the 98-99 season, he went on to score 148 times for Canvey Island.

6. A player with a long and successful Premier League career, he played once for Ks in 2009 and three times in 2011 - not in his usual position from his Premier League career.

7. This goalkeeper went on to have a decent spell with Horsham but he only managed five games for Ks in 2004, his final appearance coming when he was substituted in a 6-3 loss at Eastleigh.

8. Stuart McIntyre signed this veteran centre back near the end of his reign. But when McIntyre was replaced by Dowse, Dowse only gave him one more game before releasing him.

9. This full back, with a much more famous namesake in another sport, only played six games for us in 2005 but went on to have a decent non-league career most notably with Lewes.

10. This winger couldn't break into our team in 2008-09, with his appearances limited to the London and Surrey cups. But after leaving Ks he went on to play over 200 games in the Football League for Cheltenham, Gillingham, Southend and Swindon.

Good luck!
