England National Game XI 1

Yep, a fair few of us went down to Crawley to see this. Dean Dean Dean Hooper was the only non-Conference player to be selected in England's squad for the 2-1 victory over The Netherlands on 3rd March 1998. He started and played most of the game. Match report (more of a trip report TBF) on page 14 of Weaving In And Out fanzine issue 3 (both first and 2nd print re-run, available from all good retailers) includes Mark Murphy turning down the midweek trip to the Broadfield Stadium as he'd rather stay at home and pick his nose.

This Is Kingstonian.
