I agree with everything you said but I just can't see how non-league football can ever comply with "all safety measures taken for the protection of staff and public" when the R rate for COVID is still at or around 1.

All-seater stadiums can enforce social distancing (albeit with reduced capacity). Arsenal can survive without fans singing. (Supporters of Leeds have fuck all to celebrate, anyway.) Not Police somehow survive without any of those things. Corinthian-Casuals even survive without paying their players. Apparently. [That's enough. Ed]

But football at Ks will never obey social distancing behind the goal, will never stop Taimour sharing the same space as Ali with at least six of the players in a goal celebration, and cannot survive without income from a bar too small to safely accommodate it. Whoever keeps the income at KGF. [I said that's enough! Ed]

And that's before we think about the safety of the players and officials......
