My understanding is that Mayor Khan’s policy is marginally more protective than national planning policy but not by much (Tory shire councils also at least as protective). National policy presumes protection of the green belt and the bar is pretty high for development.

I don’t understand the argument that a golf course is for the few but a non league football stadium isn’t? To put it in perspective, Kingstonian’s average crowd is around 350 out of a borough population of 175,000.
