Whilst atmosphere is subjective, are Sunday attendances actually worse? If you take this season for example, the game v Cheshunt had a 303 crowd which is about what you would expect had it been on a Saturday and was higher than Brightlingsea Regent and Merstham (Saturday), on a par with Haringey and 4 less than Hornchurch (also Saturday). It was also higher than Horsham (Wednesday).

I appreciate that it’s inconvenient for some and would not be the first choice if there was an option. But it’s a case of swings and roundabouts. There are very few live games on Sundays in London which could attract some floaters/ ground hoppers etc.
