While local is great, it's not always that easy to achieve, especially nowadays, and even at step 6 you will get players and members of the coaching team travelling a considerable distance. We just need someone good who can bring players in at this level. Someone could be a great coach on the training ground and savvy tactically, but if there isnt someone on board who can bring talent in then it will be difficult for them whatever level of non-league they manage at. Same as being great at recruitment and crap at the other stuff. (See Dynan)

This guy sounds like he is not a bad coach, but can't get good players in. People have talked about promoting the u18s, but the level is so different that not many will make this jump successfully. Our lack of overall youth set up also diminishes this due to a much smaller playing pool.

From out here, it seems the people running the club have stopped giving a shit. Step 6 and low level futsal clubs have better presence on social media and these are usually completely amateur.

Combine these issues with being stuck out in Mitcham and is it any wonder we're in such a state?
