Has passed away at the age of 85,he had been fighting LYMPHOMA this
past year and also dementia.
He was of course a WORLD CUP WINNER and played two decades at
LEEDS UNITED,a outstanding centre half for club and country.
He also had success as the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND manager taking
them to EURO 88,ITALIA 90 AND USA 94.
He made 773 appearances for LEEDS and won 35 ENGLAND caps.
Sadly for LEEDS he joins TREVOR CHERRY and NORMAN HUNTER
who both recently passed away, all members of the greatest LEEDS
team managed by DON REVIE.
