YES, jack did support the miner's,he was a friend of SCARGILL during the 1984-85 strike.
Yet ten years later he wrote this:
"If you were to talk to some of them now,they would tell you that the closing
of the mines was the best thing that ever happened to them.
They have found a new lifestyle,and, more importantly,new hope."
He was always one to look forward-that was JACK.
