Five Questions for the Directors

By Alastair12/10 08:51Thu Oct 12 08:51:18 2017

Full piece here: /thekingstonroadend.wordpress.com/2017/10/12/urgent-questions-for-the-directors/

1. Was the budget cut after one month of the season? If so, why?

2. What is the budget now in relation to what Craig Edwards was promised at the end of last season? If it is lower, how has “boost the budget” money been separated out from the other budget as promised?

3. When Craig Edwards refers to the directors being “willing to release” Tolfrey, Taylor and Vilcu, what does he mean?

4. What progress is being made in attracting further personal/commercial investment into the club to plug the (alleged) budget shortfall, and why is Craig so upset that Mark Anderson is no longer involved day-to-day? Has nobody picked up his duties? If so, why has there not been a request for assistance?

5. Can the directors please give the fans an urgent update on progress in finding a ground, and confirm their strategy for this?

Good questions. Sadly, on previous form, I would be surprised if you got any answers.

In fact Les, other people have been asking basically those questions (and more) since the end of last season...

The question some of us are asking now is "Do the Board actually wish the Club to cease to exist?"

IMO that's unfair Rex. The problem is a lack of strategy and positive direction, rather than people wanting the club to fail.

But we are at the point where as an absolute minimum, the five questions above need to be answered.

I think the problem (the problem with the problem) is that the complete lack of reassurance from the board is breeding the feeling that they don't care which in turn is making it look like the board want the club to fail.

Something, anything, from the board can help to push these feelings to one side but when all we have is unanswered questions then it's always going to get people, myself included, looking at the worst case scenarios.

You can say it's unfair; I'm only saying that a number of people have been discussing it.

I'm thinkingoing Rex's questions are completely fair.
Let's ask once again for a statement of some sort of intent.
If you dont like the questions which won't get easier then please speak.

If there is NO communication from those who are supposed to be in charge of the short-term and strategic direction of the club, then it's inevitable people are going to think the worst.
