It was good to hear him say "I've made mistakes". I hope this means that he's reflected and learned from the mistakes, so he avoids repeating them. That's been the biggest frustration for supporters.

Certainly the current evidence on the pitch is positive, and let's hope we stay with as settled a squad as possible for the rest of the campaign. If so, I'm sure there will be more happy interviews!

agreed. saying "i made mistakes but i'll fix them" is all supporters need(ed) to hear. the manager who says "it's all fine" or "it's never me" is what causes real concern. he also seems slightly less truculent/defensive when questioned. we've already warmed to the team. perhaps we can soon warm to the manager. the players being loyal to him is significant.
