Thoughts paralysed?

36 hours and don’t know where to start. Its important for supporters to be able to relate to the players and 89 comings and goings in the Dynan reign made that difficult but even in January there was a core that started the season. These were players with good reputations but poorly managed. Sometimes its only one or two additions in the right places that make the difference. Recently Tonbridge made a couple of changes after going through a bad patch and got back to the playoff spots.
I think the loan system should be only used for emergencies and limited to two players per club per season. It can’t do much to team spirit having players coming in for a four weeks constantly throughout the season Today we had four loan players and how many were missing from the Carshalton 16.The movement of players between clubs has got ridiculous and if it continues will have a detrimental effect on attendances.

It maybe a nightmare for the first team secretary figuring out who is eligible for the next Surrey cup game. If more players leave will we be topping up with under 18’s

At least something in what you say Peter but we are playing to the rules even though they may be crazy.
Sometimes you change things for the better but dont see the end game.Maybe substitutions are going in a similar direction and soon we will have a sub for every position

Ins and outs under Dynan were freakishly not the norm.
Often when a new manager arrives so does player movement.
Hopefully the new man achieves a settled squad soon.
Don't know about limiting loans, would it include a total for season as well as at any one time if not might lead to more to and froing
For clubs like Ks with out a reserve team, the loaning out of players to regain 'match fitness', of fringe players maintain it, might be hindered by imposing limits
Would a plus of limiting loans be a manager having to rely on his ability to get the best from what he's got rather than an easy fix of a loaner?

Certainly seems good players come in and dont function and poor ones go and then do function with someone else so the idea of a manager being stuck with what he has got which was whome he bought in would be quite novel.
Wont happen of coarse but the players in and then out at Ks this season is remarkable.
New manager wants his players and a settled squad hopefully for next season and then hopefully he will get the best out of these new players he knows and fancies

I am trying to understand the logic. If using Connor Smith as an example he moves from Boreham Wood to Billericay in January then one month later sent to us on loan. Many miles away the other side of London. Then who pays his wages whilst with us? After Saturday save to say minimal chance of going up or down. Already a surplus of midfield players being paid. There is enough competition without an extra loan player. We are lacking in certain areas and I think its more about getting the right blend. The squad was a bit light in numbers and perhaps 6 in and 3 out ensuring the right balance in the squad was all that was needed whilst maintaining team spirit. I just think the movement of players is far too easy and the amount of movement is more negative than positive.

We lack strikers, nothing else.

Looking at the present make up of the squad you are quite right. If you look at the league table only six teams have scored more goals and only five teams have conceded more which indicates over the season it hasn’t been a striking problem. With Elliott,Louie and Mo we didn’t need more strikers but something was amiss with the balance of the team or the system played.

I am sure when playing some leagues had a maximum number of clubs you could play for. Didn't't think that was right.

A good and successfull team is a settled team which under the last regime was neither.
I am sure with the new manager this will change.
Success and settled it will be.

I think the current problems is down to not having class strikers. Buchanan never really showed his class and Theo blows hot & cold.
