To answer the question...
It's still straight to pens after 90 minutes at this stage.
Semi and Final go to extra time.
Clubs and managers don't get a choice to opt in or out of extra time.

Great Blazer Rules Of Our Time #617:
Players registered the previous day can play in the early rounds up to the QFs... but to play in the SF and Final they must have been registered 14 days up front... So if the SF v. Walton was to be arranged for a fortnight today, anyone signed in the next six days would be eligible for the Met. Police game but not for the SF... and we wonder why clubs get thrown-out because secretaries forget rules.

Kanphill went straight to pens (lucky for us as despite being in the bottom half of the Combined Counties they were the better side and deserved to win).
