If K's had never existed.

There's a thread on the Conference forum about who you'd support if your club had never been. Well since I grew up in Chessington the Chalky Lane club? Possibility, though I could well have done what a mate did when prompted to go to a footy match because he was bored, looking in the Comet K's were away, Tanner's were home. Buses went to both from the White Hart so he became an ardent Tanner.

So Chessington/Tanner's most likely.

Sutton/Don's? NAWWW!

I was a hereditary Man United supporter before I discovered K's so I guess I'd be just another armchair premier league fan without this club. Given my proximity to KM minus a few years in the west country (& assuming the rest of football history remained as it is) I might have even got on the Womble bandwagon given that I'd have no reason to dislike them if K's didn't exist.

Alternate timelines can be bloody frightening.

Born in Norbiton and only one club, the mighty K's and never regretted a single second of it, what a great club.

Ditto! Born in Norbiton common rd, 1958.
Living in Cambridge rd when Norbiton Sports ground was
turned into KM. Mind you, been a fair weather spurs fan for
many years and seen a lot of great spurs matches.
Proud to declare Ks as my number one home town club.
I’ve seen many great Ks matches too!…and a few poor ones.
Come on u Ks!

Granted, but what if Kingston had been a mega hot spot for rugby and football had never got beyond the Fairfield?

Well if that were the case I would have supported the 15 a side game either that or tiddlywinks

In my formative years I supported Malden Town. If the K's never existed I probably would have supported the original Wimbledon following the demise of the Town.

I used to get the 85 bus to Putney Bridge and go to see Fulham. 1967-69 in the old first division. Also Chelsea a few times. So probably Fulham.

I also supported Malden Town including when they were 1970/71 champions (before the days of promotion and relegation).Without Ks, AFC would have have gone elsewhere and would have had far more of struggle.

I am guessing I might have gone for Corinthian Casuals as they arrived in Tolworth just before Town folded.
