Next season can we have COACHES to away games at a reasonable price, Anderson Travel? Also can there be pick ups at Tolworth & Hook, as most of our supporters live in this area. Picking up from KM should be discontinued.

not saying you’re wrong, but what makes you think most of our fans live in tolworth and hook?

Wow,wat an unusualy sensible view although no disrepect fron the sender.
Kingston to Tolworth to Chessington where most seem to think is convenient is the obvious to the many if not the few

Ummmm.... I don't think Anderson Travel read this forum, and anyway all things to do with coaches are done by the Supporters Club surely.

That is correct and I sure there will be an opportunity to discuss this at the Supporters Club AGM should members wish to suggest any changes to the arrangements. One option might be to trial something a long the lines BE suggested perhaps picking a couple of potentially more popular trips - maybe Lewes and Horsham or maybe if we get an attractive away trip in the FA Cuo.

I am not sure though that we can expect Anderson Travel to to provide subsidised travel as Mark Anderson already provides financial backing for the club and may feel he has already given.

We’ll fix the date for the AGM at our next meeting. There will be several weeks notice.

But it’s always at the same time - bang in the middle of the school holidays and there is always just a couple of weeks notice! When I was a member I’d get back from holiday to find the letter inviting me the previous week.

Why not hold the AGM, I dunno, during the season, when most people are definitely not on holiday? It’s just an idea. Probably a crap one.

Not that I’m likely to ever join again...what, with it seeming to be an anti-supporter supporters club :-)

Assume the AGM should be annual but there should be certain movability.
I know most people have given up on the S.C. like me but I feel that with a new manager seemingly making the right noises for the supporters to come together then maybe its a good idea to join or re-join and try and make it work for the benefit of the manager.

If I join do I get privileges like convincing the board a terrible idea is a good one? (Not that they tend to need someone to convince them).

True its not suitable way of travelling, maybe even embarasing for some, but sensible travel arrangements and timings as in days gone by and possibly more supporters will travel and even pay a little more

Would coach users be prepared to pay increased fare for traveling in a half empty posher vehicle?

No but why the everlasting negativity.
Release yourself from your bubble and come into the real world and realise there is another world out there of people who want something better and will pay for it.
Raise your sights higher my friend and you may be surprised

Errrr I asked if coach users would pay the cost of a half empty better coach (real world economics), you say no. You then go on to say you want something better and are prepared to pay for it. ??

... and make sure there's a toilet... with an arsewiper... a nubile, good-looking arsewiper... preferably female... and armed with silk wet-wipes and baby lotion... and food should be provided... hot food... including a vegetarian option... and maybe a vegan option... and it should be halal... and kosher... and a free taxi to/from the pick-up and drop-off points would be appreciated. Ta!
