What is the connection between Kingstonian, Alexander III of Macedon and the 21st and 2nd letters of the alphabet.

It's a bit more cryptic than that old son, think about namesakes....

Do a search pairing two of the three elements, with the right pair it's there in front of you.

The connection is that the S.S. Kingstonian (namesake of Kingstonian F.C.) was sunk by a German U-Boat (letters 21 & 2 from the alphabet are U & B) on it’s way from the Port of Alexandria (which was founded by Alexander the Great and is his namesake).

KORREKT!

The SS Kingstonian (launched 1901) sailed out of Alexandria bound for Marseille with a full complement of troops and equipment, on 11th April 1918 she was torpedoed and disabled by the UB68 and put aground off the coast of Sardinia. The troops and equipment were unloaded and a salvage operation undertaken with the aid of a navel tug On 29th April 1918 she was attacked again and sunk by the UB48 which also sank the tug. Thankfully the loss of life for both attacks was very low.

Doing a paired search with Kingstonian and UB brings up a lot of relevant information.

Well done David!

For those who might think this has nothing to do with this forum I would point out the first sentence of the message at the head of the forum, anything KINGSTONIAN, to me that could also include some great Jamaican music.

Dont think it does any harm to post things that are not directly Ks based at this close season time although in this case there was a link anyway.
I am sure as soon as news from the football side comes in we will give it the prominence it deserves.
