Youth teams

It is refreshing to note that K's ran nine youth teams last season, from Under 18s to under 8s. The club should be congratulated also proud in promoting soccer at this level. It would be nice if a few of these players were playing soccer at a higher level even on the World Cup stage at sometime in the future. I don't know the logistics of running these teams, all I can say is well done K's.

A successful youth team structure is a key of strengthening links with our local community and promoting the profile of the club. I went to the Kingstonian Youth end of season awards in May and there was a good vibe.

Obtaining the new local base at Dinton Field was a big step forward and there are encouraging signs that Kingstonian Youth are set to prosper there.
