Never have liked a manager coming from another club bringing all or most of his team.
Maybe our time will come.
Having said that it is certainly a good and exciting looking squad for us and that is how we want it with somebody else having to look after their own problems.
Friendly's should produce some much needed excitement and maybe we can hit the league programme running.
Feeling great excitement for the new season with wat looks like some positive vibe

Dowse did it & it worked.

Dynan did it & it didn't work.

I dont think either were to this extent but both times it has been teams ranked lower than us (either by division or within division). Taking the bulk of a squad that finished as play off runners up can only be a positive especially if they all combined cost us less than last season's failed isthmian galactico project. If we even have just a mid table season then the new bossman will be vindicated in his decision.

Agree,Paddy ,with everything you say and for us it looks good, very good.
I only made the point I dont like a new manager stripping his old club but I see that life is as it is and maybe if Merstham had more to offer than our potential then it would have been more difficult to obtain the particular players.
Again to stress,I am really only interested in Ks and so with much excitement,I look forward to the new season with much anticipation
