ALL supporters? Will the Board lift last season's two bans in time for this game?

I maybe wrong, but I was under the impression by the conversation on the forum, that the ban was until the end of the season just gone. I think that we all need to move forward and part of that is that they are able to attend.

It was a bit ambiguous, IMO. The ban was "to the end of the season" but also "to be reviewed over the summer". I know the Board promised to write to the two individuals concerned but I don't think they've done so yet, and Yioryos got a bit shitty with one of them when he was pressed for an answer/update.

The two were warned that any attempt to breach the ban would be looked on most unfavourably so, if it has been lifted, then the Board need to write to them and confirm that.

Hello!! Calling all Board members... The two individuals you banned have still not been told if their ban has been lifted yet and the "Meet the Manager" and Fun Day is next weekend. I know you profess not to read the forum and I know Yioryos doesn't reply to emails that I send him but perhaps you can actually pull your fingers out and DO something about this..??

Exactly! Yeah ok that ban might have been until the end of last season but as Rex correctly stated it was also said to be reviewed after the season. So far neither of them have received any form of contact from the club.

And when one of them contacted a board member to try and shed some light on the situation, again Rex is correct in saying that he received a really shitty reply back without answering what in my eyes in a pretty simple question. He could have replied and said something along the lines of... Yes,you’re welcome to attend home games again next season. We don’t agree with some of your behaviour last season but as long as you don’t do it again then we’re willing to put it behind us and all get on with supporting great club we all love.

Or even...No,I’m sorry but we have decided to keep the ban in place for the forthcoming season. We feel that there is absolutely no excuse for getting drunk, using bad language and making yourself look like a twat at football.

But no,Yiorgos hopped straight up on that high horse of his and sent back a really unpleasant and slightly patronising response. These guys have both been watching K’s for over 20 years! Surely they deserve some sort of message from the club? They were quick enough to send them a letter to ban them. And to send other clubs images taken from their Facebook pages.

Not only that but the fact that both of these have young children it would have been a great opportunity to bring them to this family fun day. It’s pretty disgusting that they are being treated this way and the next generation of K’s fan is being denied access to the club as a result.

Yes, I'm pretty certain that the ban is over.

This is a new start for EVERYBODY, let's all embrace it and get behind the Board, Manager & Players.

The future is bright, the future's red & white.

I agree we need active publicity. In addition to the Club’s website and Twitter account, fans can have role also. Those of us who use Twitter can tweet about the Fun Day and home matches.

The Supporters Club will produce an A4 poster for the Farnborough match and fun day and an A5 flier with details of Ks home matches. There will also be posters produced for each home match as for last season. We will also be an increase in activity for our community engagement programme

Clearly the biggest recruiting sergeant for good attendances is success on the pitch

As well as a bouncy castle, face painting and a penalty shoot-out . Other attractions will include Club mascot Kingstonian Ted organising a Teddy Bear Tombola with free tickets for under 18s. Prizes will include little Kingstonian teddies that normally sell for £6.
