They were good at blocking K's attacks, and they were good at exploiting wide open spaces at the back. We put together a nice goal, showed promise.

Boro' Supporter can remember coming to KGF when they were in same League as Casuals. Said nothing appeared to have changed within the ground unlike their place, already for League 2 in the next three years!

I suppose"showed promise"was the positive to take from the afternoon friendly in the sun.
Goals leaking must be worrying but lets stay with the positive.

Third hand quote

I don't mind if we lose every PSF so long as we start winning the League games from the off. Or something like that I wasn't there.

Dont want to lose friendlies especially with teams somewhere around our level but we are tinkering with a new manager and players who Im sure will be ready for day 1.
A day out in Brighton would have been better, supporter wise,on a Saturday but hey ho the Tuesday heatwave will be good for those not committed to work

I like to think PSF's are a work in progress and not to be taken too seriously . The real business starts on August 10th. Come on you K's

Spoke to the manager on Friday re lack of K's goals. His reply was that Louis was back at club and would be the number nine and everything would be fine. Well, no change to him on Saturday from last season. Started off down the middle then drifted out to the wing where he soon lost interest and was substituted in the second half.
