It is incredible that an afc Wimbledon director can tweet tendentious things like this:
AFC FC are complete hypocrites. They enabled Khosla to asset strip us by buying the ground. It is really is that simple. If they are so high minded and principled, they should have never have dealt with him. There is no doubt their relative success was built off our shoulders and very much to the long term detriment of Ks.
There was a number of people involved with Ks at that time and none more than the famous administrater.
Where to start with did Khosla come from. This nonsense that his son went to school in Kingston and he wanted to give something back was baloney from the start. He was an asset stripper and probably still is and maybe still at it under a different name. The administraters know these people and use them to do their worst to get these people on board to "save"your club
Wait to see where Bolton go now after they were saved but the notion that you end up paying into someone elses pocket for what was taken from you is ,well, just amazing
Ks failing enabled Khosla to buy lease. Ks in comparison to many others have been lucky the club is still here dispite self inflicted problems.
AFCW could have been not so helpful to Ks,and there is a lack of evidence that the majority of Ks supporters are willing/able to put the time or effort in to save Ks.

Always easy to look back and there is much to critisise but other options were open but ignored by the administrater.
Looking at the finance AFC needed then obtained will always be contemptable.
AFC always regreted certain things regarding us in the lease but there were certain things that Khosla insisted on being put in to safeguard us and continued football for us at Kingsmeadow.
Quite so OSK, but just as easy is the 'poor little old Ks' narrative favoured by some on this forum. As for safegaurds re Ks playing at Kingsmeadow if there were any they were meaningless. The terms RBK got from AFCW in return for council owned land which enabled AFCW to meet EFL regulations did not guarantee continued tenancy, and in fact AFCW were far far more kind to Ks then required to financial donation

"AFCW were far far more kind to Ks then required to financial donation"
That is correct, but they did that so they came out of all of this smelling like roses, not because it was the right thing to do. As has been the case with most of their decision making.
Not sure just how kind but what of their attitude although I must say there Bar Manager was the worst ever and could have done themselves no favours
If figure released was correct £900000 kind.

Oh dear,I understand and don't really disagree but think you maybe a little on the kind side to AFC.They could have dug in more but on an overall basis I don't see we have a lot to thank them for but still realise in all that happened they were not the main problem
For me, it's the narrative that they were doing it to 'save' us which grates. They did what they thought and needed to do for their best self interests first and foremost, and then anything else including us would be down the pecking order. That's absolutely fine and I wouldn't begrudge that, only if they didn't spend their entire existing justifying how their actions were all to save* us. Regardless of how they treated us relatively well, we were ultimately collateral damage in all of this.
*Lining the pockets of the asset stripper Kho$la was never directly aligned with saving us. He lucked out as back then had no other realistic takers at such a massively over-inflated price. They fact is they colluded with him from the outset, and if they want to deny it then let's point to the huge loan between the pair of them to make the deal go round.

^ This x1000 .
Jimmy saved us. No one else deserves that credit, least of all the ones who throw that claim around having actually done at the very least as much harm to the club as they did good.

In list of blame in poll position are those who run Ks in such away that roof caved in. AFCW owed Ks nothing, and of course Cochrane stepped up,shame more of the so called 'fantastic'supporters did not. Ks were lucky to have, if figures are correct over £1,000,000 come there way.
If you follow the blame line to the source it stops at KFC. Ks could have followed a different path that would not have ended up losing the lease on Kingsmeadow. But hey ho a brief spell at the upper echelon of non league is a price still being payed.

Let's not forget those since Jimmy too - Jimmy got rid of Khosla but the board that then came in after provided the financial stability required to press on as a club.
There are to be thanked. Anybody who puts their own time and money into running a club, without expecting to profit financial and open themselves up to ill informed 'supporters' snipping and even personal abuse merit thanks.

Quite right Ali and one forgets or maybe didn't know,Mr.K. is also a money lender so having done this grubby deal with a newly formed football club with a shortage of money,he then made a loan deal with them knowing they couldnt borrow anywhere else, being a new buisness. The thought may well have been that they couldnt pay as time went on but pay they did and Khosla didn't make any more money that a default would bring him.
We really do have bad thoughts but must realise where we are and consentrate on what we have now.
