If Hayden is happy with that game today, then I'm afraid he's going to learn fast that the fans (certainly those that I stand with) aren't! That was dire and most of us couldn't wait for the final whistle!

It was an improvement from the previous week, but certainly nothing
to get excited about, the big worry is the lack of goals, yes we had chances
but the team lacks creativity,we lack drive from midfield, our build up is
somewhat laboured,we require a quality forward to help the hard working
LOUIS up front, sort this out and we can go from looking a mid table team
to a possible top five outfit.

Yes, we had chances but didn't take them again.
Agree, we need some spark and creativity from midfield and I
also agree with you that a quality forward up top with Louie
might help the goals ratio. I think our expectation is a little too
high for this group of players and on recent performances I
don't see us progressing beyond next week in the cup against
a very buoyant Grays with Jim Cooper at the helm.

Yesterday was difficult to watch. I'm not sure going 4-4-2 worked against this opponent. There often wasn't enough width which plays into the hands of a team who likes to sit deep and play on the counter. In that shape you can get width from the wide midfielders or overlapping full backs, or the strikers can split wide if playing with a diamond or narrow midfield, but we didn't really do any of these and failed to create a great deal.

I still have faith in this manager, I just think he needs to go back to what he is good at and what he believes in. We look a bit short of confidence but hopefully that will come with another result.
