https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/nov/07/macclesfield-players-strike-wages-fa-cup-tie-kingstonian Suggests that they are looking for 'a settlement', so presumably not in a position to make payments in full.

They should have made a decision by now. I'm supposed to be going up on Saturday, hotel booked, tickets for the match etc.

It just sounds like sod the rest of you.

Why should we be caught up in someone else's problems - no one helped us when we were in trouble!

I just want to know where we stand - oh - I forgot - they're a football league team - we're just some non-league team south of Watford!

Rant over!

Are you having a go at the company that is the football club or the staff/fans that are being screwed by an apparently lost the plot owner?

I think the point he is making is that somebody needs to make a decision if the game is on or off.

Everybody needs to know before the day, preferably by Friday night, so that we know where we stand.

Personally, it's a nightmare as my flights are booked and not refundable unless I can find something in my Travel Insurance which allows for cancellation of football matches.

The general apathy towards Kingstonian supporters with very little time to go before kick-off! The websiie says the players are on strike - therefore it's an obvious decision that the game is off - someone needs to tell us!

I've been reading and posting on their forum and most of the stuff on there is speculation with little in the way of facts since the club have made no announcements.

Yes I know, the only 'firm' information seems to be that the owner is having difficulty getting his overseas money into the country which is why he fails to meet commitments so often. I really feel for your position David, maybe our club should make some sort of statement about the situation?

A dose of cynicism suggests that MTFC might want to delay the decision in the hope that the match will be rained off. I really hope there's a decision earlier.

Sky News is reporting that 'the match is in doubt'. What use is that? THE FA NEED TO MAKE A DECISION!

The story I read was their players are boycotting the game to protest at their wages not been paid or paid late. Apparently they consider this game to be the one to strike over because it is not a league game and it pressurises the owner of the club who will want the prize money from advancing in the cup.

Surely they should be forced to make up a team of players that are available to play? If that means the youth team then so be it.

I think you need to read his post again Count.

He is saying the game on SATURDAY is off, not the one on Sunday.
