I wanted to echo a thought that I read somewhere in the comments below and pay special tribute to Rob Tolfrey - after what was probably one of the easiest games he's ever played for Ks! (I think he made his first save on 88 minutes?)

The most loyal of players, he's had to put up with some difficult times with us over the last ten years [Is that right? Ed], so reaching the Second Round of the FA Cup is a fantastic reward for him. Top keeper, top bloke.

Totally agree, Rob's 10th anniversary was 9th Nov, (from an impeccable source) .

Also have to mention that despite not being busy doing his normal job, Tolfs still made a massive contribution yesterday: his was the assist for the first goal. What a pass.

Yup, that was me bigging up Tolfs. I’m glad others of greater standing than I on these boards (eg reximus) have echoed my feelings. Over the years, nay decades, we have been blessed at Ks by some great goalkeepers, from the late, great Graham Roope through Lance ‘DB’ Key, to name but two. For sustained loyalty (a rare commodity at this level) and constant excellence, our Tolfs is worthy of the highest mention.

I am chuffed to bits that he gets to be part of this Season's FA Cup adventure with Ks. It would be wonderful to see his skills shared with a national TV audience in Round 2 or - dare we hope? - beyond. Especially if it resulted in a clean sheet and further progress.
