I agree, a great opportunity to progress in this
great competition now undervalued by the premier
clubs, but for clubs like ours the income generated
and the belief a cup run can do for moral can never
be underestimated.
Before that we have a very important game on Wednesday
so good luck to the boys, what a difference this is from the
last few dreadful seasons we have all endured.

Watched them beat Orient at Wembley in May, they deserved it due to Orient not really turning up.

Beatable? Aren't they all?

It is the only guaranteed all non league tie so possible for the Sunday highlights and a bit of tv money. AFC Fylde average attendance 1300 approx so an attendance of 2000 won’t be far off the mark. Any game would have been very difficult but Yes winnable.

They didn't take many to Wembley for the Conference National playoff final in the summer, so I wouldn't expect much of a travelling support.

Our lowest ever FA Cup 2nd round crowd is 1,891. I genuinely can't see us getting even half of that for this game sadly.

Maybe I am a little optimistic. Nantwich, who Fylde beat in the previous round had 1544 and their average attendance is 394 so perhaps under 1000 is equally pessimistic. The time and date may have an influence.
I think what is at stake can tempt people to attend. The reward for the victor could be immense with not only the prize money but maybe the likes of Liverpool, Man U etc away.

Wiki says Cor cas capacity 2000, but I think that may be
an uncomfortable 2000 with only 161 seated.
1500 home with 500 allocation to away club adds up,
but I think local authority and Police may restrict
attendance.

What is our attendance ?
How many at Dartford ?
How many at Macclesfield ?
Not you would agree a true reflection of our support.
How many went to Wembley?
Me,I think all ticket and 2.000 crowd maximum with 1.500 actual sales .
Lets make the most of this, there are great marketing oppertunitues but first wat day and time

I think our attendances for a long time have been mediocre at best, and whilst we're able to punch above our weight for away games I don't see any signs as to how this crowd will break the thousand mark.

Think back to the last time we had a really big home game and reached the playoffs (against Hornchurch). Fylde will probably bring only as few more than they did too.

Probably gets worse for a Sunday game as well assuming we get the same kind of TV thing as the first round. I can't get the train down on a day trip- first train from Wigan is 9.15 and is an hour longer than the usual journey time so Euston about 12.15. Any Fylde fans going are in the same position as me, getting the train 10 minutes earlier at Preston. So for me to go to a Sunday lunchtime match it means going the night before- £100 for the train and £70 for a Premier Inn. Nationalise now!!!

Any supporters coaches would leave even earlier than K's fans left for Macclesfield and it's not like this is special for Fylde fans these days.

Still a chance to get some new fans going and maybe they will come back, but like Ali says, unless somehow the publicity gets ramped up via Comet front page headlines probably less than 1,000.

I don't mind. If we manage 600 home fans plus 150 away and 50 passers-by, that will feel very packed at KGF.

The last time we played them at home in the league the crowd was getting on for 1,900 of which about 40 were Fylde fans, no disrespect to them but they’re a hobby club.

Winnable match for you guys though.

I think the fewer they bring the better, because the
home support could be crucial, the more noise we
make could have a huge influence on the outcome.
We want to make it as uncomfortable as we can.

I agree thinking back on our last big home games we had around 6-700 against Cray, Hornchurch and H + W.

Fylde don’t even take 100 fans to nearby away games so I think them bringing 200 would be a good turnout for them.

So I think anything over 1k would be great maybe we could add some new fans for the future in the process.

I think given our average home gate and appx 150 'returnees' coming back for
this game, we could have up to 500 solid Ks fans turn out. Add 200-250 floaters and
ground hoppers and 200-300 from Fylde, I reckon we'll be looking at a gate of
1000-1400. I seem to remember Cor Cas had a play off game with around 1000 in
and it was a bit chaotic. We'll need to have lots of stewarding and significant policing
I think.
