Are you able to tell us how many tickets were printed and how many of those have been sold to date?

Yes indeed, thanks to Jon and banquet records for a
refreshingly simple transaction. That's the first batch bought!
Just a couple of things I'd like to know. Segregated?,I'm not
bothered, but looks like we won't be. All ticket?. Think it might
reduce the gate if there is no pay at the turnstile facility for
those who might just fancy it Friday or Saturday morning.
Do we get bar and food takings on the day?.
Would Banquet consider updates on number of tickets sold?
Just questions by the way, not complaints!
Come on u Ks!

If we are selling tickets in advance it has to become all ticket (with numbered tickets).
Unless all the tickets are sold I advance, people will, I am sure, be able to buy tickets at the turnstiles .

Seats
Views: 1009
One thing that concerns me more than the idea that the game might be sold out is the number of seats available.
If there are 161 seats per wiki then I assume plenty of those are taken up by press, directors, guests etc and that doesn't leave too many for elderly or people who need to sit down for whatever reason. I could see seats selling out very easily and seems to me we ought to be prioritising those who most need to sit down.
I wouldn't want to be creating additional work for the club unnecessarily on what will be a busy day for all the volunteers but I think it would be well worth considering having seat vouchers to hand out to those who need them most and then make it a free for all after a certain time (say 2.30), or perhaps section off a small block with a steward only allowing elderly/disabled into that section until we can be sure everyone who needs one will get a seat.

I did raise this but the answer came back that this is not practical. The admission price is to the ground and seats are not numbered or reserved..... so the club does not have a mechanism of guaranteeing a seat.
Unfortunately therefore the advice is to get there early to bag a seat.

Thanks for raising this and I do understand the difficulties involved. I would expect most K's regulars to be excited and get there early anyway but it would be a shame for an irregular to turn up and have a bad experience.
Hopefully if it does become an issue on the day we could have some active stewarding or tannoy announcements to try and persuade people to give up seats like they would on a train.

yes, it sounds like this is going to rely on people being open to compromise/unspoken public transport norms...
this would be an even greater problem if Fylde had any fans.

I got the impression their money bags owner has got five coaches ready, (terrace tittle tattle) although I've not checked myself.

Good point.
The Supporters Club Committee are meeting John Fenwick, Yioryos and Hayden after today’s match so I will raise this for them to think about.

What would the criteria for requesting a SEAT ticket be?,
its visibly obvious in many cases that some people could
not stand for the duration of a match, but take me for instance
I'm 68 and look pretty fit but cannot stand for long periods due
to lower back/leg pain for which i'm on painkillers.
To prove this would i have to produce a medical prescription.
Maybe priority should be given to people over a certain age.

I wouldn't think it needs to be that heavy a thing to be asking for proof. Taping off 30-50 seats until near kick off and leaving it to a steward's discretion should to the trick- most people who are willing to ask a steward are probably genuine and most people would understand not taking a seat under false pretences with a chance to get one anyway at 2.45.

Yep agree.
With a crowd of maybe a thousand it will test us,but we will see what we are made of.
Sensible deal with Casuals regarding the bar and then all the stops pulled out to serve the many quickly and well.
Being negative Im not sure but ready to offer help and advice from a venue taking good money with very busy functions.
Just call
