I believe that plans will be published over the coming days. Early bar opening is what I've heard.

I know extra arrangements are being made, for instance I will be swiping one of the tables in the bar for the club shop which will be outside on the patio in a gazebo - that will give more breathing/circulating space. Many thanks to everyone from both clubs who are involved in all these arrangements!

This a big day for our club - I'm happy to forgo all this to put the match on. If we had Kingsmeadow all would be doable.
we haven't, let make the best of it.

I can't disagree with what you say, Ian. But for many people a beer and a bite to eat are an essential part of the matchday experience, and the additional income raised (whether for landlords or tenants) is not to be sniffed at.

I get that and I travel 100 miles round trip for all games but we have a tiny portakabin and a small bar - loaves and fishes spring to mind - for OBU, football focus staging and 700-800 more folk...

Who the hell are you ?
I'm in support of the club in this message string. I have no idea who you are but after 40 years supporting this club I'm not staying at home.

Abd after 50 years (trumped not bettered) I am not staying at home either but with a massive function to help organise later in the day I shall be at the game albeit with no drink required
Try thinking not of oneself but the experience of others, sometimes those new or coming from afar.
No easy solutions but stop knocking those who want to help as oposed to those not capable or not wanting to be involved
Thank goodness for good solid folk like Ali and John Bangs who are the lifeblood.

Step one , reread supportive message above from me,
Step two, have a moanathon at our zenith for last 18 seasons,
Step three, irk Ali, O and G as well,
Step four , moan about a club in crisis , who offered pie n coffee for 4 pounds.
I'm enjoying this period of the club , even you cant distract me anymore.
Have a blessed eve x

I intend to get to the game early which means I'll have to have my lunch there.
If I have to wait 30 minutes for a burger, so what.
It's all about the most important game in Kingstonian history for around 20 years, not about whether I can get a beer and a burger in super quick time .
Football first, everything else is secondary.

The two clubs have been having discussions about what can be provided safely within FA rules and how to manage a big influx of people. As Ali says, an update will be provided on this during the week. Bare in mind that we also need to accommodate the BBCs Football in Focus team and outside broadcasting facilities (which gives us truly wonderful publicity).
The reason the BBC are coming to us is precisely because we are ( for this stage of the competition) a little team with a small ground “punching above our weight”.
Having these challenges is a sign of success. Personally I’ve got to be there early as have quite a number of volunteers. So personally I’ll do what I did at Macclesfield and Dartford which was to take sandwiches and a couple of soft drinks.

Well said John,on top of Ks being a small club, our landlords are as well. I'm sure that the day will be organized and run as smoothly as possible. Mind the niggardly nitpicker will find something something to focus on.

When C Casuals played Walton in the play-off final there were dustbins full of iced tin beer. This was situated outside the clubhouse and the food truck had two queues one for just drinks and the other for food with a drink if required. The bar was heaving but orderly so the staff have experience of serving a 1000+ crowd. There was no segregation which caused a few 'problems' late in the match with not enough stewards to cope with some mindless idiots from both clubs coming together.
