So again we are at home when Casuals also have a home game. I see that the Casuals game that was due to be played this Saturday is now scheduled for a January evening and they haven’t had a home league game in ages. I’m not sure why the game isn’t going to be played on Friday evening or Sunday afternoon but I hope Ks dont start to look as though they are taking over KGS which won’t do the relationship between the fans much good or any future partnership.

I hope the scheduling of this match can be suitable for all concerned.

The trophy game may indeed be re-scheduled so no harm done...

it is worth noting how much money Casuals are going to make on the bar from both these games.

Casuals might take a lot of money over the bar.

Brewery profit margins mean they won't make much at all.

With such a crowd, I'd argue that the price elasticity would be low and so could actually sustain a higher price if that's what they wanted. Just to add that this isn't what I'd want.

There will be a lot more people along for the big games so, regardless of take / make margins, there will be a lot more money on both counts. That's surely a positive for the landlords in all this.

Oh absolutely yes. I wasn't trying to imply anything else, just countering a perceived suggestion that Casuals would somehow be making vast profits out of this. I probably read Taimour badly.

Can you imagine the crowd for that - bigger than Fylde I'll wager.

Bird V Dowse - The eloquent one V the struggle to understanding one...

Making Kingston great again - 1,2 ,3 4
