Boxing Day derby?
Saturday is off by all (Twitter) accounts.
An idea: why not play the derby on Boxing Day?
Both K's and Casuals are playing on 28th but if Liverpool can play two in two days, we can play two in three?

I await for you to be taken apart for posting speculation on this forum before an official club announcement has been made - in the efforts of equality & all.

This really is a very different kettle of fish to a recent posting spreading what appeared to be a false rumour. Saying one would like something to happen is entirely different to saying things are happening which aren’t .

Hardly “old” when a false rumour was causing consternation earlier this week. Whether the source of this was someone engaging in guess work or whether this was malicious, I don’t know but this is an entirely different matter to expressing a view about when Ks matches should be played.

I don’t personally think so. When a false rumour appeared to be designed to stir up animosity between Ks and Casuals, I think it’s out of order.

Yeah, damn those rogue casual fans. Or the PKK. Or whoever we can blame on the spot for assuming the K's-Casuals game is off.

I don’t think anyone on here started that rumour, JB. I think they were duped, like poor Taimour, by some Casual fans with a well-executed windup.

You may be right about the source but the lesson surely is to take unsubstantiated rumour with “a pinch of salt” .
And if not waiting for “an official statement” - at least wait for some facts.

....in the last week there's only been 2mm of rain with regular sunny intervals and a blustery drying wind, I'm posting a match forecast. 2 - 2 draw, it's Christmas.

Should we get lucky and play 4-1 to Ks

What a great idea but sorry it is a fairytale.
Cant believe there is no Boxing Day match again with its high attendances and the chance for us all to have and enjoy the great and traditional time of sport but you cant play two very important matches in two days as Liverpool already knew.
What a shame we have all this rain which seems set to have another game called off at a time we are already behind with our fixtures and the new year looking toward to some serious fixture congestion.
Sorry to poor cold water on an exciting idea but really cant see it happening

After all it is the pantomime season what can we expect. "Where is it the"? goalie said, a roar from the crowd "its behind you" "no its not the ref said lets ask VAR" The pantomime villain took a long time to decide before saying "no its not, besides it was offside" Happy Christmas all

but what's the difference between playing Saturday to Monday like we used to? we played Sunday-Tuesday after the FA Cup game. This would be Thursday-Saturday.

Would be amazed if our manager went with it but it would help our fixtures.
Have the players also made arrangements for Boxing Day maybe they are away.

Apologise for not even thinking of the volonteers where it would be most difficult to make any real progress throughout the season
Maybe a good time to say Happy Christmas to all the helpers and volanteers.Well done to you all
