I wasn't there but I can imagine what it was like.
Eleven days before we play them again and Hayden says
'that won't happen again'. You know what?, I firmly believe him!

I think he summed it up about right. We played poorly in the first half with some poor decision making. Overall we didn't keep the ball well and lost a bit of belief in how we play at times which turned the game into a more physical battle which played into their hands. Having said that we created enough to get something from the game, but gifted them easy goals. An off day, but something we will come back from.

Cheshunt were so up for it the first 30 minutes. it was a sight to behold. Reece Beckles and Ryan Moss charging at Cook, Ozzy, Fabio and Clohessy so we couldn't build from the back in the usual way. We then defended sloppily for the goals and Bennett got a red amid poor refereeing. 2-0 at half-time and down to 10.
What is strange is we still had loads of chances. Dsane came on second half and had two one on ones and a stonewall pen (not given), two were cleared off the line and Louie scored a great goal after turning the hapless Sean Cronin (PE Teacher and longstanding bete noire).
the saddest thing of the day was the 15 Cheshunt Youth behind their goal who ran desperately to Moss for a celebratory bundle. Ryan turned away, perhaps out of respect for the K's fans who still hold him dear.
