Flags for Trophy Match

It would be really good to get as many Ks flags as we possibly can at next Saturday’s Trophy match against Leamington.

We have seen some great displays of flags at recent FA Cup and Trophy matches. This has included the new club flag produced by the Supporters Club which are displayed on the flag poles with three hand held full size flags. The Supporters Club has now ordered 12 more so we can have 6 more full size hand held flags and six that can be attached to the perimeter fence.

It would be good if anyone who has taken home one of the smaller hand held versions of the flags could bring these along. People are welcome to keep these but it would be good to see plenty of these on display as possible.

the Guardian have an article today on Fylde and the lead photo is of their match against us in the second round. the most prominent things in the image are the two K's flags being waved as the players come on to the pitch.

Interesting..

As you will have seen the eight flags we currently have were also really prominent on the highlights of the Woking match; albeit that it was filmed by Woking TV. When we have 20 large flags against Leamington this should be especially impactful.

There are normal ticketing arrangements for this match; so yes people will need to pay on the day. Leamington have apparently indicated that they will be bringing about 150 people ; so it should be a decent sized crowd.

As with the Fylde and Woking games, there will be a briefing on the Club’s website during the week about arrangements on the day.
