Its Over

Yes its all over in our mighty cup running season.Just a 0-1 after our 1-1 home draw against Leamington.
Opinion seems to be,we played ok,tried hard, but had no impact up front.
Well that is not surprising given the circumstances but it is now the time to move on and concentrate on what we are here for at the end of the day and thats the league. We have improved so much during this time but back to basics now and for the players and manager to realise we are proud of you.
For those a little older who experienced those great Wembley days, they may just concede that this team deserves our praise equally.

Well said - I couldn't make it due to family commitments but I would go further this team is worthy of greater praise, its been built in very little time on a budget I would suggest less than Leaworthy's monthly wage ( worth every penny BTW).

This Bird era is exciting as it is brave - playing football at our level in the wettest winter on record on a pitch supporting 2 teams.

See you all on the 25th.

Errrr there's still the County Cup Very important.

A couple of times last night we had a beautiful display of the possession game Hayden promised. A performance to be proud of.

Leamington are one of the nicest clubs I've seen, how about arranging a PSF Gaffer?

Yes, well done to all. The players gave it absolutely everything. Great turnout from fans too. And a nod to the supporters club for the coach. Back to kingsmeadow by 11.50pm (with ollie underwood playing "this is how we do it" while performing the Romford Wizards wand dance).

Very proud of the whole squad last night, who ran until they (literally) dropped. The won’t-be-beaten attitude we have in the these cup ties is quite something, and a hell of a contrast to the pathetic attitude our previous teams have displayed in cup nitty-gritty over the past few years.

We had nothing going forward last night, partly because we were disjointed and partly because Leamington were very good at the back. Respect to Dan Hector though, who seemed to be attacking on his own at times - he was everywhere!

Leamington lost their leading scorer but replaced him straight away with a loanee from Coventry. We did nothing to bother them, need strikers urgently for a League play-off place.
