As said before, there are some delightfull villages in Essex, not quite Sussex, but quiet and tranquil as surprising as it may seem and it would seem this weekends game sees one of these villages.
It maybe if you stay within the village you may well be surprised at the English language spoken not the blonde led speak we are so used to.Funny enough,as in most counties of this country, there are many good and well spoken peoples, well behaved and law abiding, unlike that we so often see portrayed before us on Love Island and other piffle on our tv's and newspapers.
It may well be football supporters are not what they are so often portrayed as in our media.

I agree there are a lot of lovely towns in Essex. I may have mentioned this before but my mum and dad were born and bred in Braintree. Mum lived in Clockhouse Way a stones throw from Braintree Town (or Braintree and Crittall Athletic as it was in the 30's) and served in the tea bar on match days.
I can see the comparison between Braintree and Newbury. A very nice place to live and within travelling distance to most parts.
Keith.
Why worry, be happy.

There’s a big difference between estuary Essex and horsey Essex as a Devonian living near Braintree once put it

Depends, there are parts of Essex on par with Sussex. Whilst some of Essex like Kingston have been swallowed up by London there is enough still county to enjoy.

You actually watch Love Island? The title alone is enough to avoid it like the plague!

Sorry
Respect Piers and where he has come from in life to where he has become.
Sussex man.
Toughest of interviewers with Andrew Neil, the polititions stay clear especially when they are known as serial liars.
Back to the subject though,Sussex by the sea its wonderfull cricket ground, the Amex the horse racing the Downs and its serene villages can sureley not to be compared.
