I always rated the London Senior Cup very highly in the day (50s-60s} also a magnificent trophy. Do we K's still play in it ?

We should re enter it, with no reserve team it would give at least 1 more match to field the squad players. Runners up last 2 times we were in it.

Given our fixture congestion worries, just as well we're not in it.

Whilst it's good in theory for fielding fringe players, the logistics often don't make it work so well. More matches means more players but how do you make that work for maybe just one or two extra cup games mid season.

Better off just arranging a friendly if/when you need an extra game.

Very true especially after great cup participation this season.Maybe of more interest if we as has been happening in the past few years had been eliminated early in these competitions.
Always nice to have silverware but much better to have runs such as we have lateley and face the tough final part of the season with no distractions.

Apart from the behind the goal large stand the rest of the ground reminds me of a 'shanty' town.

Errr... it's Woking, not Boreham Wood, all of your reservations would certainly apply there. There's nothing wrong with Woking club (generally), ground, location or fans. What the town will eventually end up like after it's all finished I'll reserve judgement, but a comparison with Croydon I fear will be justified.
