How many former players nicknames can you identify? First person to correctly answer all those I’ve listed below wins a free pint when the season restarts. Full names not just surnames.

C-Dubz
Chico
Psycho
Tizer
Speedo
Tails
Jinky
Sumo Sam
The Legend*
Cart Horse
The Rocket
Chopper
Big Barry
Cup Tied
Tucky
Rocky
The Rug Muncher
Windows
The Lion King
Mr T
Turkey

*nickname given to him by former club, by no means a K’s legend.

Great effort Si and seeing as it’s been up for 3 hours and you’re the only one to attempt it I’m gonna award you the pint.

Only 2 incorrect, The Legend was Joe O’Connor. Played a handful of games during 1999-00 season. Was given the nickname during his time at Hednesford after scoring 2 Goals in their 3-2 win over Middlesbrough in the F.A Cup.

Mr T was of course Adam Thompson. Hence why he’s chant was to the A Team theme tune.

Cheers Butz, I should have got Adam Thompson but had no idea about Joe O'Connor. Great quiz, let's just hope we get some football again soon!

Joke O'Connor!

Don't think I would have beaten that - sterling effort and good quiz.

We once got fined by the Suburban League when Trevor Jones submitted an official teamsheet for a reserve game with "Tuc" on it.

The' Ghost '. Keith Keary. He was so pale, he looked
like one. Good player though.

I'm pretty sure he passed away while still a Kingstonian player - or am I completely wrong?

Erm..not sure he passed away as a Ks player, but I think
he has passed away. Used to love watching him play in the same
side as Johnnie Doyle. Keith 'Ghosting' past defenders and John literally
tying them in knots with his mazy runs.

Do you have any info/stats regarding w hen and where he died and how
many appearances he made for Ks?.
I'm guessing it was around 1970/71/72

My bad and VERY embarrassed for posting what I did.

The car crash relates to another Keary- perhaps his brother who also played for K's. Details here:
