To add one more, as a personal favourite - we were particularly shit and a crap game at The Beveree one year, end of season with nothing to play for - 2013 i think

A new song (possibly created that day though i wasn't at previous game) kept us going and going. Think we won, but it was the atmosphere rather than the game that sticks in the mind.

He is Luke Wa-na-dio, Luke Wa-na-dio.......repeat Ad infinitum

Another example of this was in the early days at KM - when Mark M and I coerced a mate to come down with his Hull city mates - and they brought with them their "come on you Ks , keep it going " repeat ...

Very effective

Actually Paul the birdy song was Robb Sheridan’s song,he was given this after myself,Rex,Bill and Belly went to go watch the under 18’s beat the wombles. Robb scored a decent header from a corner and celebrated by running towards us flapping his arms like a bird. We made that song up there and then.

The remaining unanswered chants are:

Daddy cool- Alan ‘Shaggy’ Hughes
Brown girl in the ring- Phil Williams
Allouette- Jonty Venter
Just one look- Lewis Cook
The music man- Steve Symes
Rigoletto- Bashiru Alimi
Staying Alive- Carl Gibbs
Pinball Wizard- Martyn Lee
Eye of the tiger- Andy Iga
Pow- Lee Hall
O sole mio- Antonio Gonella
Sweet Caroline- Joel Legister
Da do Ron Ron- Nick Rundell

Great effort to those that answered. A little disappointed Rex didn’t get pinball wizard as in my opinion it’s one of the best chants he’s come up with.

I've come online too late to have a go at any of these unfortunately but what a nice reminder of the great variety of player songs we've had over the years.

Just seen the date posted and, wow - I've not been reading here for over a fortnight! Anyone would think the season was over...

Yeah, well I had to leave some for other people! Truth be known, I can't remember all the lyrics to that one... I know it included:

"From Sutton down to Brighton, he must have played them all" and
"He wanted to play football, but he was five foot three"!

Almost Rex, almost...

Once there was a young man his name was Martyn Lee
He wanted to play football but he was five foot three
He scored the only goal when we beat the afc
He brought the cup home
And he’s sure got a sweet left foot

Since leaving Kingston six years ago, I've been to a few rugby matches, but I can only think of one football match I've been to that didn't involve The Super Hoopsa `(Newport County v Barnet, 8th March 2016).

2-4-6-8 Motorway - The Tom Robinson Band

2-4-6-8, Alan Tait
La la la la la la la la la
Etc

I seem to remember him starting for us on the right wing, then wearing the no 9 shirt for a while, until the manager changed him back to wearing the number 8 even though he was then playing him as the centre forward - just to keep the fans sweet - is that about right?

Not true Rex.

We signed him the day before Billericay away. On the way to the game you text Dowse asking if the new signing could wear no.8 as it would make a great song.

Your wish was granted.

It’s a Long way to Tipperary - Harry Williams

It's a long throw from Wayne Finnie; it's a very long throw.
It's a long throw from Wayne Finnie; but he likes to score own goals!
What's the use in scoring, when it goes in your own net?

Can't remember the next line(s) exactly but wasn't it something about "can't find your way home"?

Trivia for a bonus point; first recording of "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" was by John McCormack in 1914!

Suggestion: everybody replies with just one per reply. The fewer there are left, the harder it gets!

I'll start with: "Please release me- Englebert Humperdinck"

Chuck Martini plays in goal
Cos he's not Sutton any more
He plays for Ks now, doncha know
So Chuck Martini, save the goals!
