Really enjoyed - My closest contact with TW was when we sponsored a game or 2 at KM - especially the Tonbridge Angels game - he took me into his office area and showed me the tactics planned ( v thorough) .

Considering what followed with LD - retrospective good times.

Thanks Taimour

I think the cup defeats to vcd, barkingside and north leigh didnt help. Midtable with cup runs would've kept fans on side.

Floodlights........

I remember the Corinthian Casuals Floodlight debacle very well indeed.
Living where I do, I try to get in more than one game per visit South so I had a train ticket to go down on the Wednesday, for the Tonbridge game, and then a return home after the game on Saturday.
First of all, the Wednesday game was called off due to the lack of a 'Floodlight Safety Certificate' and then, the worst looked to be on the cards.
With Casuals having been reinstated into the F.A. Cup, the word was that they would want their ground on Saturday and we would have to play on Sunday....after I had gone home.
As it turns out, our game was played on the Saturday so at least I got one game in.
