FA Trophy Final 2000
Views: 2712
Who'd be interested in watching the FA Trophy Final 2000, this Saturday at 3pm? (It's the original Sky Sports footage, including the build-up to the game and the presentation of the Trophy.)
Free to watch, although I'd suggest a donation to Kingstonian charities (Mind and KCAH).
If I can get the tech to work, it'll be hosted on MS Teams, so you should be able to interact and chat, the way we did in the Zoom meeting last Friday. Dig out your Grolsch 'Brazil' shirt, the matchday programme, your ticket stub, any photos of the day and be ready to share them!!
If it all goes ahead, I'll publicise how to join it on here and on the various Facebook and Twitter feeds. Maximum capacity: 10,000, which is roughly the number we took to Wembley that day :-)

FA Trophy Final 2000 - how to watch
Views: 2364
If you fancy joining this event, I will broadcast a trial tomorrow (Friday) at 6pm and again on Saturday at 12:00 (noon).
It will work best if you install Microsoft Teams on your PC, tablet or mobile phone. (You can watch it via a web browser, but I think the quality may be lower.)
You WILL need to set your browser to allow third party cookies. Hence running the tests!!
All three broadcasts have a different link.
Fri 18:00 link
Sat 12:00 link
Sat 14:15 link (the match will start approx. 3pm)
I'll post this information on Kingstonian Pictures page on Facebook as well; please share.
Edit to add: System requirements and supported platforms
Supported operating systems: Windows 7 and later (32-bit and 64-bit), macOS X 10.10 and later
Supported mobile operating systems: Android 4.4 and later, iOS 10 and later
Supported web browsers: Chrome (last 3 versions), Edge RS2 and later, Firefox (last 3 versions), Internet Explorer 11, Safari
Note: Linux isn't supported for live events

I'm hoping to include the ability for people watching the event ("Attendees to the Public Live Event" in Microsoft's parlance) to interact with the broadcast and each other. (Edit: the only 'collaboration' available is the ability to ask questions in a Q&A - so ask your questions and I'll try and answer them!)
Whether I succeed or fail, you may prefer to chat in a WhatsApp group with your besties. (Cos we all know how cliquey Ks supporters can be..!!)
"WhatsApp video calls can now include up to eight people instead of just four. In order to reach the new upper limit, everyone on the call will need to be running the updated version of the app. Published 28 Apr 2020"
Edit: You can join the broadcast at any time you like and I will make the main (Saturday afternoon) broadcast available to record - you should be able to watch the entire broadcast after it's finished by following the same link.

I've just checked, and the Sky Sports coverage that I have only includes about 5 minutes of the half-time interval.
To make sure we don't start the second half until at least 15 minutes after the first half finishes, please suggest what you'd like me to show during the ten or so minutes available to us. Bobby's wonder goal at Sutton? A photo montage? Your own personal memories of the day?
Please send me whatever you have (or links)?

This will be great to see because those of us who were at the game won’t have seen the full Sky coverage with build up etc.
