Man City v Arsenal
Views: 656
Did you watch? How did it look on TV with no crowd, and fake crowds and possibly fake crowd noises?
Do you agree the game - the whole Premier League season - should have taken place? What do you think of the arrangements in place to safeguard players' safety?
I don't have Sky (won't have Sky) but I miss football... I'd have gone to the pub tonight to watch it.

I had the intention of watching it but by the time it rolled round I convinced myself to give it a miss as truth be told I don't really miss football as a whole, I just miss Kingstonian. My first live viewing of football is going to be the mighty K's / Ks whenever we're allowed to start the season (&/or attend the games) & until such time arises I'll make do with taking the club to glory myself on football manager.

Same as you Rex,no Sky,wont get Sky,but would have gone to the pub.
Worries me a bit agreeing with you but to offer you this.
Its not football that carried on where it left off last night it was the Premiership. We love it even in its somewhat weird form last night but its only there for money.Premiership football and to a lesser extent Championship just oozes money all over the world and is bending all the rules to carry on.I can not even play football with my grandchildren.
We would be so much better concentrating on how the game as a whole can get started again in September.Cricket by the way has test matches coming up but cant play grass roots county game.
Just to make sure I am not always in agreement Rex,I am enjoying Ascot although not dressing up or drinking champers or picking winners

No score apparently, ahhh that was another match - whatever, somebody on the Conference forum quit just after halftime because of that crap electronic rubbish that was ruining the game anyway before lockdown. Bargain Hunt is far more entertaining.....

My observations are :
Welcome back footy on the box.
Get rid of the crowd sound, it was out of sink with what was going on the pitch.
Why use a huge stadium when a smaller non league ground (assuming it has the facilities) would do.
Get rid of the goal line cameras.
Keith.
Why worry, be happy.

Two poor games. Players are not really fit enough and the pace of the game is a bit slow. I must say that futsal from Belarus and Vietnam has been much more entertaining.

Bit harsh on the fitness. Its almost like first game of the season without the prep.
Its rushed in for money reasons which I suppose is what it has become.
