I get football rivalry, no problem. And I know that Cor-Cas fans are (at least) equally to blame for the rivalry between us and them.

But shouldn't we be more concerned with our own fundraising initiatives than our rivals? I'm certainly looking forward to our next 'Buy a Brick' campaign...

Have you only just seen there crowd funding. They’ve already got £11,000+

Worthing asked and raised £40,000
Wingate ask and raised £10,000 and asking for £15,000 now
Bognor asked and raised £30,000, and asking for £50,000 now

A lot of clubs are looking crowd funding, it’s hard to remember them all. Seeing the league retweeted them that’s how I’m aware.

Tooting and Mitcham were looking for ten grand from their crowdfunder and raised it in two months so I'm sure Casuals will be fine. Happily donated to Tooting, shan't be doing so for Casuals.

It should be noted that if it wasn’t for Casuals we wouldn’t be back playing in RBK.

I’m a bit shocked by this. After all they don’t pay their players, they get their gate receipts, our rent, all the bar takings and sponsorship.

Where does their money go?

There will be fixed costs which I can’t imagine are cheap.

Ground maintenance and facilities maintenance.
Ground rent to RBK as the freehold owner
Electricity
Water
Business rates

Like all clubs at our level with their own ground they would have budgeted for gate receipts, bar takings, hiring etc which haven’t transpired due to Covid-19. Not having our own ground at the current time has been more of a blessing than a curse.
