Watching Chelsea Ladies right now and what a delight to see all sight of AFC removed.
I understand we are sorry its not Ks red but for the moment at least we are not sharing the ground and neither are the other lot ,the cuckoos,so its back to CFC and 3 and there pride of London signage.
Maybe next season a bit of red about

Maybe didnt explain it well
Rescued from the cuckoo monster.
In the days of Kingstonian it was a community hub with the bar open every night for the supporters, neighbours and friends.
Many a dinner or band or show and even weddings.Over 60's nights and many a good night.
With the arrival of AFC all the community events came to an end. They are what they are.
No clue as to what may happen now but one hopes Chelsea will show they are a true community club

Chelsea should show that they are a true community club in Kingston about 12 miles away from their home? Yes, we should be grateful that all the cuckoos have left the Kingsmeadow nest.

For me the current situation is maybe even more frustrating than when Wimbledon were there.

Chelsea Women have 11 home league games a year. Plus some cup and Europe. But it's really not much, and their usual home day is Sunday rather than Saturday.

So there's not a massive issue with fixture congestion. Really, the situation is perfectly designed for a PL women's side to groundshare with a lower league / non-league club.

I hope that women's football continues its upward trajectory and soon Chelsea are attracting such big fanbases that Stamford Bridge becomes their home rather than Kingston. Probably wishful thinking.

Lot of difference in the two grounds but the most importent is that Kingsmeadow is theirs.
Maybe the way they already are and the growing strength in the support,Kingsmeadow is already small.
Just maybe that is in the mindset and an improved ground and capacity is for the future
