I hope we’re not getting booted to Sunday for Corinthian Casuals vs Brightlingsea league game
Thought FA Trophy took priority, we moved aside for there FA Cup game & we didn’t complain. We got on with it
I know they’ll see this, someone will share this on there fan forum.
I hope it’s announced we’re playing on Saturday 3pm asap, otherwise it’s weak leadership

Although Sunday games are not ideal are they really that bad? In terms of the Premier League, the prime TV slot with the biggest game of the weekend tends to be the 16.30 Sunday slot so it isn’t out of the ordinary.

The big match on Sky on Sunday week is Chelsea v Man.United.
Remembering the day at our "home" in Leatherhead where we were always made welcome we always watched the previous match 12.30 game on BT and remember the 17.30 match we so often stayed for with a nice pint of black in a glass.Afraid we would not be able to see a 16.30 game now after our game let alone be able to get a glass at someone else's home at Casuals
Can't see both so.....

With Chelsea play Manchester United at 4:30, it would be good if we could play at 1pm or Friday Night. Never a fan of Sunday games. Turn out is usually poor, atmosphere not the greatest.

Whilst atmosphere is subjective, are Sunday attendances actually worse? If you take this season for example, the game v Cheshunt had a 303 crowd which is about what you would expect had it been on a Saturday and was higher than Brightlingsea Regent and Merstham (Saturday), on a par with Haringey and 4 less than Hornchurch (also Saturday). It was also higher than Horsham (Wednesday).
I appreciate that it’s inconvenient for some and would not be the first choice if there was an option. But it’s a case of swings and roundabouts. There are very few live games on Sundays in London which could attract some floaters/ ground hoppers etc.

Sorry Ollie.
Its nothing to do with Casuals and their ground it is indeed "The Rules" and as we know they must be obeyed so its Friday or Monday.

Weak leadership from who exactly? It's Casuals ground, and they get priority, sadly. The woking trophy game was a sunday for this reason, and can't imagine this will be any different. That's what our agreement with them surely is.
But sure, just have a pop at 'weak leadership' for no apparent reason.

Okay, the weak leadership was a heat of the moment thing and I was wrong to put that in, I apologize.
I don’t really remember the Working game, A my memory is p**s poor & B I was at working, I know it got moved to the Sunday.
I thought FA Competitions took priority over the league games, clearly that’s not the case. I don’t know what’s in the agreement between Ks & casuals.
Have tried to take out the weak leadership bit out my previous post but I’m blocked from doing that, though can edit this post some reason.
I don’t know what else to add, probably thanks for the dislikes on this post (very popular with the dislikes on the forum at the moment, even if it’s correcting an error)
Hopefully see you all Wednesday

It's not leadership, it's the rules. trophy doesn't take precedence so casuals at home on the saturday.
Whether it can be played friday is also their decision.

Shame home always feel like away without the fun.
