Presumably Merstham away is off on the 6/8
Also is this the final list or will there be more, Still got 2/7 & 9/7 off and you would guess we’d be play both those days. Especially as there are 2/3 real testing games and the rest are meh (sorry to any supporters of those teams). No team in leagues above only step 3 & below

Oh for the days when players reported back on July 31st and played 2 friendlies before the season started on August 17th.
Player movement is far greater now, but one has to question how much benefit clubs get from the now universal schedule of 10 pre-season friendlies.
It's player power that drives the system of movement at this level, so I suppose it's an acceptable trade-off for them. However, do they really want to be running around in friendlies, on a plastic pitch in July, in 30°c, as triallists or to lose a few kilos?

But not the Rugby League season for Widnes.
All football divisions max 18 clubs
Maximum of 4 pre season games.
That'll give us a decent rest from football.

I'm in Ashtead for a few days with the Aged Ps. And then off to Glasto next week :-)
But certainly enjoying England v New Zealand just at the moment.

Cuts to working people have been increasing year-on-year since the days of Maggie's Millions. Especially under the Rt. Hon. Member for Sedgefield.
The number of stipendiary parasites, however, especially under the Rt. Hon. Member for Sedgefield...
They're almost as good value for money as the average footballer.
...and one has to admire the chutzpah of Nip-Nic's regime in the National Socialist paradise: blaming the priapic buffoon for strife on a rail system that's been nationalised by Nip-Nic herself.
Still, I'm sure enough half-starved blacklegs & scabs will be on hand to man sufficient trains to get K's fans to Beaconsfield & Haywards Heath.

FIFA looking for a volunteer amongst semi-pro leagues to trial "kick-ins" (If this forum had emojis, I'd type 4 lines of ROFLs at this point). Surely pre-season friendlies are an ideal place to run a trial of "kick-ins".
