In Lee's interview with Jamie he said that we've retained Tolfs, Cook, Kenny, Kershaney, Nyren (since announced that he won't be staying) and re-signed Juevan Spencer. Since then we've also singed Jack Strange, Louis Collins and re-signed Benno. Almost enough for a starting 11. I'm hoping for the return of Dan Hector and Reece Hall.

But we still have a very thin experienced squad with not a lot of back up!

The start of registration, I believe, was the 1st July . Though disappointing to lose some players who either performed well or have been with us 2/3 seasons I think the squad we had, if stayed together, was unlikely to challenge Hornchurch, Bishop Stortford and Lewis.. Lees previous teams have been a mix of experience with youth. At the moment it appears we are lacking left side and more forward positions but expect in a couple of weeks we will feel more comfortable with the team taking shape. I think there are too many clubs good enough to challenge for the title and throwing money at the budget with a reduced chance of success may not be sensible. Sittingbourne were mentioned in a previous post strengthening their side with higher level players, maybe a good move. No higher teams were relegated into the South East division and the one big team in that area, Hastings , were promoted. Making the decision to increase the budget in those circumstances maybe a shrewd move.

On this forum and I must say I am in agreement with most of these posts, it appears to me that K's are not in a good place just now. However K's are striving to hold their heads above water and to this end I applaud the management for this. As a bystander I understand the difficulties that has been afflicted on the the club for the past 20 years.

Not wishing to go into past history the club has survived these somewhat tumultuous times. This would not have happened in the Khosler times as this has been well documented. K's have been triumphant in winning trophies also their league history is commendable. To conclude I think K's have a big heart and they will survive where ever they may end up playing. Good luck K's for this coming season also the future.
