POSITIVE
Views: 17227
Good morning all
I have been reading so many post recently.
Please for god sake can we have some positivity on this website everything I am reading is all so negative.
The points are :
Sacking the board - what will this solve surley it will leave us in a worse situation.
The Ground - We all know where we are with that - Nothing more can be said until the board have had there answers themslevs - And we have a plot of land
Support last night - really it was our 1st home game of the season and Wingate do not bring many supporters so we cannot help that.
Going forward lets all support Lee and the lads which I am sure you all will do.
Also lets support the board me for one think they do a great job and it is all on there own time.
We are a great club but have had a few terrible years and we have no given right to win etc.
If we all sing from the same hymm sheet surley we can move forward.
Onwards and upwards , come on you ks , remember positive.
Thanks and Regards
Paul

Exactly Paul, we're dead at the bottom of Ando's cliff.

Paul, it's possible to support the players on the pitch and be realistic (i.e. critical) of the state the Club is in and the poor communications from the Board.

I just think there is to much negativity around the place
What ever seems to get done is never good enough - a case of dammed if you do and dammed if you dont
Just dont know what people want ie for example dont like playing at tooting and mitcham - where else could we have played then ? to stay in this league.
A ground cannot get built overnight and getting land is even harder, councils also hard to deal with I can imagine.
Just think we all need to be upbeat or upbeat as we can.
Me for one I am happy and was impressed last evening considering our team is young - 3 experienced Senior players in Tolfs, Cadugan, bonnett jonson. the rest RAW / Young and will learn

It was great to be back watching Ks. and I often think we’re too critical on players.
the ground situation is separate tho and is rightly causing concern. the board haven’t given us an update since telling us we had the envy of non league coming to Lovelace. I don’t think they were lying. I think they believed someone else’s lie. but what we were told is not true. I’m quite sure the move to Tooting - a damaging one - was because Lovelace was “a done deal”, and it would only be for a couple of seasons till we move into our new home
i sincerely think that ignoring the dire position we’re in, is to the detriment of the club. as a supporter I can’t pretend everything’s fine when the club could be dead in a couple of seasons.
so yes. support the team. recognise the great of the club and the volunteers and the board members. but also recognise the flaws and the grave situation

I really enjoyed the game. I thought it was competitive and there were some great goals. I liked the layout of the T&M stadium (apart from having to climb the stands to cross over). The bar staff were friendly. You could get a drink from the kiosk at half-time.
I was mighty relieved Tolfs didn't dislocate his ankle and thought some of the 'trialists' looked very promising despite falling 2-0 down.
I think Kieron Cadogan, Declan and Louis Collins were superb. It was a shame we couldn't have edged it but I think a draw was a fair result.

Whatever Lee said at half time certainly did the trick as we
dominated throughout.
Rob had little to do although he dropped one cross resulting
in a slice of luck when they messed up a good chance but other
than that we created several chances with some delightful
front foot football.
First half we were off the pace but scoring just before half-time
gave us a platform to take them on after the break.
I think we may have a better season than many of us thought
before a ball was kicked.
Last season expectation was high only to deflate, this season the
opposite is felt but you never know this squad may surprise us all.

Yes, exactly. Our current two points from two games could so easily have been six. A dubious last minute penalty vs Margate and a poor 1st half last night meant we had to share the spoils in both games. We were very good 2nd half last night and deserved to win.
