This is a list of my favourite type of cold meats, if I had to eat them every Saturday for the whole of next season.

1 HAM
2 HAMpton
3 FetcHAM
4 RoeHAMpton
5 TwickenHAM
6 Walton and HersHAM
7 CobHAM
8 ClapHAM
9 HAMmersmith
10 MitcHAM
11 StreatHAM
12 EgHAM
13 MerstHAM
14 FeltHAM
15 ChobHAM

Number 10 is quite low down. When will the directors finally update us on their preferences?

The directors' current approach is certainly ham-fisted!

Wasn’t the plan always two years at Tooting & Mitcham United before the move to the new ground?

"Tooting & Mitcham United FC and Kingstonian FC are delighted to announce that, subject to Isthmian League approval, an agreement has been reached to ground share TMUFC’s Imperial Fields stadium from the start of the 2022/23 season initially for a year and with an option to continue year on year until Kingstonian are able to return to the Royal Borough of Kingston. From TMUFC’s perspective they are delighted to support another Club in the Isthmian League Family."

Ambiguous, you could argue this statement either way I suppose.

You missed the obvious - Kingston Upon THAMes

Be careful what you wish for:

Beginning in HAM:
Anywhere in HAMpshire
HAMburg (hopefully the Directors would provide transport to home games)

Ending in HAM:
GillingHAM
NottingHAM
CheltenHAM
RotherHAM
ChippenHAM
OkeHAM
FareHAM
BirmingHAM
DurHAM
WrexHAM
BuckingHAM
WokingHAM
TottingHAM (shudder)
West HAM (my personal favourite)

Mid HAM:
WolverHAMpton
SoutHAMpton
NortHAMpton
Etc.

Also, any number of British HAMlets.

Etymology: "ham" meaning an enclosure in the bend of a river, which certainly explains the Ham near Richmond.

And there's a town in Kent called Ham, just a couple of miles from Sandwich.

(And for the veggies amongst us, there's a village in Leicestershire called Quorn!)
