Well done to Iker.
It's obviously very tough to pick the best of his 13 appearances for the club. The most recent 12 of those games, Kingstonian haven't won, so I think it's probably worth going back to his sole win, the 3-0 victory over bottom-of-the-table Brightlingsea on October 12th.
I must admit I can't remember his four-minute cameo appearance that day but it must have been superb!

Given how dreadful the season has been I understand why people have made what to all intents and purposes is a protest vote.
Nonetheless this is incredibly harsh on Tyrese Owen, who was our top scorer and by far our best player. Without his excellent contributions we wouldn't have had anywhere near enough points to give Simon Lane even a chance of keeping us up. Feels like he's been overlooked because he left, which is incredibly harsh when he went up a level to progress his career.

No and it's far from the first time I've been surprised by the POTY choice.
I just find it a bit unfair that so many people are apparently unwilling to vote for someone that moved on to a bigger club when he was very obviously our best player.

I voted Tyrese too, by a long way. The only other player who was close was Imran, and he was only with us for a month. But the firm the team had during his month spell kept us up.

I voted for Tyrese. He was obviously our player of the season. Would be interested in hearing who others voted for. We had the awful player of the season award which Nyren (rightly) won and then had no presentation. I wonder if our illustrious director of football presented his award to him in our earlier "home" game against Cray?

Haven't made it down to many of the U18s games this season unfortunately but often see his name among the goals on the club's twitter account.

I am sure the Club must be tearing its hair out , my sympathies go out to the club. After all K's plus the people who are at the helm are doing their best to ensure K's survival is the important issue at this time.
