Wycombe Wanderers Friendly

So what happened to that then? I know we couldn't get him to sign a contract (who can blame him), but the board/directors/whatever they're calling themselves today stated that they had agreed a friendly with Wycombe:

"Finally, the Club would like to thank Tom Holder, Sam Grace and Gareth Ainsworth at Wycombe Wanderers for their professionalism during negotiations, and we look forward to welcoming Wycombe Wanderers for a pre-season friendly, which was agreed as part of the deal."

Is this yet more fake news? Was it not actually agreed in writing? Why has there been no comment about it from the board?

I expect better communication from older, more experienced businessmen.
